Thornton Cleveleys Running Club Whatever your level, you will find a friendly group to run with. Speed sessions are held every Thursday at various locations.

We meet every Tuesday at 6:45pm, ready to run at 7:00pm at Tee Time Golf Driving Range, FY5 1RN. Our growing membership contains a mixture of both male and female, young and old with running abilities from the complete novice to the marathon (and beyond) veteran. Give yourself 15 minutes before hand to come and say hello! Don’t be shy, just speak to any of the runners.

🌀 TCRC Thursday Night Loop Madness! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💨

Our fantastic four took on tonights night’s ½-mile loops at Anchorsholme Park, and despite a fierce headwind 🌬️, there were some seriously quick laps out there! ⚡

👑 The consistency crown goes to all four runners this month — there was barely anything between them!

💪 These sessions may be short, but they pack a punch, helping to build speed, stamina, and mental toughness. Judging by some of tonight’s sprint finishes 🏁🔥, everyone was giving it absolutely everything!

👏 The energy was fantastic, and it’s great to see everyone’s hard work paying off. Keep turning up, keep looping, and those longer runs will soon start to feel easier.

🏃‍♂️💙TCRC at Preston Interclub 💙🏃‍♀️

What an incredible turnout from TCRC at tonight’s Preston Interclub! 🙌🧡 It was fantastic to see so many members out racing, supporting each other, and showing the amazing team spirit that makes our club so special. 👏🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🤝

The 4.2-mile, two-lap route around Avenham Park, taking in the new bridge 🌉, provided a great evening of racing, with some fantastic performances and excellent times across the club. 🔥⏱️🏅

A huge thank you to Preston Harriers for organising another excellent event, and to all the marshals and supporters whose encouragement around the course was greatly appreciated. 📣🙌👏

Well done to everyone who took part and represented TCRC so brilliantly! 🧡💪🎉

We’re already looking forward to welcoming you all when TCRC hosts our own Interclub in a few weeks’ time! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🧡🎊

🌟🏃‍♂️ TCRC Club Night – Ready for Preston! 🏃‍♀️🌟

A quieter club night than usual tonight, with many of our members saving themselves for the Preston Interclub tomorrow! 🏃‍♂️💨🏃‍♀️💨

It was a nice steady run for the main group 👟😊, while the rest of the gang enjoyed a comfortable 4-miler 🛣️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️. Our Back to Running group smashed out a 5K 💪🔥👏, and Brian and David hit the roads for an impressive 8-mile run 🚀🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️.

Good luck to everyone representing TCRC at Preston tomorrow! 🍀❤️Run strong 💪, run fast ⚡, and most importantly enjoy it 😃🙌.

🌟 TCRC BIG SHOUT OUT! 🌟

Huge congratulations to Lisa Kelly who took part in the Race for Life Pretty Muddy 5K yesterday! 🏃‍♀️💗💪

Lisa is also taking on the Race for Life 10K on 1st July and is doing it for some very special reasons. She is running in memory of her lovely mum, who sadly passed away from Mesothelioma in 2003, and for Alison, who continues to show incredible strength and determination in her ongoing battle with cancer and for everyone whose lives have been touched by cancer.

⭐🔥 TCRC Parkrun Round-Up 🔥⭐

What a morning for Team TCRC! 🏃‍♂️💨💙 From PBs and tourism to volunteering and cheering each other on, our members were out in force once again across the Parkrun community 🙌

A fantastic turnout at both Fleetwood and Blackpool Parkruns, with plenty of TCRC support on show 👏💙. A special shout out goes to Phil Wilson and Jeanne M Creighton who swapped their running shoes for hi-vis and were out marshalling this weekend ⭐🙌. Your support helps make Parkrun happen!

Huge congratulations to Bradley McWilliams who blasted his way to a superb 17:55 PB 🔥⏱️ and Naomi Wrigley who smashed out a fantastic 23:31 PB 👏💪. Outstanding running from both of you — hard work paying off! 💙
