A good game against Marchmount tonight in The DBA Premier League ended in a win for Marchmount.

Despite all the rain earlier in the day, the green held up and played well.

Well done to Marchmount on their win.

The seniors were back in action today with Thornhill 1 taking on Dumfries and Thornhill 2 playing Marchmount.

Thornhill 1 managed a convincing win against Dumfries which now sees them currently sit top of the table.

Thornhill 2 had an extremely tight game against Marchmount and just fell short in the last couple of ends.

Well done and good effort today guys 👏

Tonight following the bowls Scotland ties we carried out some much needed work on rink 6 in preparation for upcoming Gents Bowls Scotland finals day. However the sandy area was mistaken for a beach and attracted some local anglers who managed to hook a pikey…. 🐠🐟🐡

Pairs :- Thornhill (Bob McQuat & Jock Ross) 17 - 15 Kirkcudbright

Over 55 Rinks :- Thornhill lost to Castle Douglas

After Scotland's success in their first game in the World Cup we now move onto the second game in the group stages. Our new 200inch projector will be showing the Scotland vs Morocco game this Friday night with the bar opening at 8pm.

This event is limited to 80 people to make it comfortable for everyone. If you would like your name on the list can you please either comment on this post or contact Gary Stewart/Sam Stitt to secure your place. Its Sure to be a great atmosphere. No Scotland No party!!!
