April has seen people flocking back to the bowls club. First for a coffee morning in aid of cancer charity The Kelly Turner Foundation where lots of money was raised for this very worthy cause. Thank you to all who attended and supported. Next was for the first day of bowling with members trying their woods in fun competitions. Well done Phil and the green team for doing such a great job on the rinks over the winter. Bring on the bowls matches, Thornham Magna is ready and raring to go!!

Everyone is welcome to enjoy, tea, coffee, cakes, raffle and so much more in support of The Kelly Turner Foundation, a cancer charity doing so much good in the fight against it. January saw a wonderful presentation evening held at Diss Golf Club. There was food, drink, merriment and lots of trophies handed out to the winners and runners up of the club competitions held throughout the year. The presentations were made by Kim of Stoke Ash Plant - Earthmovers, one of our lovely sponsors. Unfortunately we can't include everyone's presentation photograph but here is a small selection along with a full list of all the successful bowlers.

Although we're all missing the bowling season, we're keeping our spirits up with lots of lovely social events!!

Tonight was western themed with a quiz, fancy dress and traditional camp food. A fabulous time was had by all. Yee-haw!!

Whether you're young or old, just starting out or an already experienced bowler, come along to Thornham Magna Bowls Club. We have friendly roll ups every Saturday 10am-1pm. The bar will be open as well as tea, coffee and snacks available. We'll even provide the bowls if you don't have your own!!
