Together, the first target has been reached, so what's next? IT'S OUR STRETCH TARGET OF £39,000!!!!!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, we've successfully achieved our initial Crowdfunder target. The response from our members, families, local businesses, former players and wider community has been nothing short of amazing.

Our stretch target of £39,000 has been set for one simple reason:

🏉 Every additional pound raised will go directly towards our floodlighting project.
Replacing our ageing floodlights with modern, energy-efficient LED lighting is a significant investment. While the original target helped us get the project underway, reaching the stretch target will allow us to maximise the scope of the installation and reduce the amount the club needs to fund from other sources.

The new LED floodlights will:

✅ Provide brighter, more consistent lighting across training areas
✅ Allow safe evening training throughout the year
✅ Reduce energy consumption and running costs
✅ Lower maintenance requirements and improve reliability
✅ Create a better training environment for players of all ages

This project is about securing the future of rugby at our club. From our youngest players taking their first steps in the game to our senior teams training on winter evenings, these floodlights will benefit everyone for years to come.

To everyone who has donated, shared, sponsored or supported the campaign so far, thank you. Your backing has been incredible, and we're excited to see how far we can go together.

We've reached our original goal... now let's complete the project! 💙🖤 at https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/thornerugbyclubsolar

Let's keep the momentum going and reach our £39,000 stretch target!
