​Thornaby Badminton Club is a club that welcomes new players from beginner up over, so if you feel like picking up a racket again come down and join in! Club nights are held at Thornaby Pavilion Leisure Centre Thursday 19:00-21:00
Coaching is on Thursday 18:00-19:30
Junior Club is on Thursday 18:00-19:00

Home matches are on Wednesday 19:00 onwards

For the first time in years, Durham entered a team into the Under 14 Anglo Scottish Tournament at Tyneside Badminton Centre on 29th & 30th November! 🏸
The team played 5 matches over the weekend -
🔹Lothian: 15-0 loss
🔹Yorkshire: 12-3 loss
🔹Glasgow & NS: 12-3 loss
🔹Northumberland: 15-0 loss
🔹Cumbria: 8-7 loss

Most of our young players were brand new to county level competition so they did brilliantly to win some matches (particularly the close contest against Cumbria!) 🤩
Other team managers and coaches also commented on the skills and manners of Durham players, we are so proud of our players for displaying such a great attitude! 🌟

A very well-deserved 2nd place for the team today 🎉 in the Tyneside Badminton Centre Reivers Junior League. Losing only to Tyneside Hammerheads and even then by just a single game. Great team spirit, very impressed with them all today.
