⚽️ U8s Away Day to Whitby!🌊

Our U8s had a fantastic away trip to Whitby and, as always, made the most of every minute of being there!🙌

It wasn’t just about the football either — the lads enjoyed a brilliant day out, packed with plenty of memories along the way:

🪜 Tackled the famous 199 Steps💪
🏰 Explored Whitby Abbey
🐟 Enjoyed some well-earned fish and chips
⚽️ And of course, got stuck into their football!

To top it all off, they were lucky enough to have the RED ARROWS fly over while they were playing! ✈️💨

What a sight and an experience they won’t forget!

A brilliant day of football, fun, teamwork and making memories together. ❤️⚽️

It’s fantastic to see the children developing, growing in confidence and progressing into team football. This is exactly what our academy is all about — developing children both on and off the field while helping them build the skills, confidence and experiences they need for their football journey.

🏆 ANOTHER TOURNAMENT WIN FOR FC TEESSIDE THORNABY U8s! 🏆

What a day for our FC Teesside Thornaby U8s, who have won another tournament during pre-season! 🔥⚽️

The boys worked incredibly hard throughout every game today, competing, battling and giving everything from the first whistle to the last. Their teamwork, attitude and togetherness were absolutely fantastic and really impressed everyone watching. 👏

There wasn’t one easy game in what was a fantastic tournament. Every match was competitive, exciting and a brilliant watch, with the boys showing exactly what they are capable of when they work together as a team. 💪❤️🖤

A huge thank you to all our amazing parents, families and siblings who supported the boys all day. Your encouragement, positivity and constant support makes such a difference to the children and we really appreciate every single one of you. 👏🙌

⚽ Getting Ready for the New Season at FC Teesside Thornaby🔴⚫

Our partner club, FC Teesside Thornaby has spent this week preparing coaches, parents and players for the start of the new season — and that preparation goes far beyond what happens on the pitch.

This week, the club spoke with parents about the Parents’ Code of Conduct, making sure everyone understands the important role we all play in creating the right environment for our children.

Yesterday, it was the players’ turn. The team came together to go through the Players’ Code of Conduct, and we were really pleased to see how engaged they were. They listened, contributed and understood why these standards are so important.

👏 So, why do we do this?

Because football should be a place where every child can enjoy the game, feel safe, express themselves, make mistakes, learn, develop and, most importantly, want to come back week after week.

We want to create an environment where children feel supported rather than pressured, encouraged rather than criticised, and where everyone — players, coaches and parents — plays their part.

The aim is simple:

❤️ Enjoy the game.
🤝 Respect each other.
⚽ Support our children.
😊 Create positive experiences.
🌱 Help every player grow.

A huge well done to everyone at FC Teesside Thornaby for putting this at the heart of the club as we head into the new season.

We’ve been that busy lately, we nearly forgot to congratulate our amazing players from our last camp! 🙌⚽️

Every camp finishes with one of our favourite parts — the presentation! 🏆

It’s a chance for parents to hear all about their child’s week, celebrate their progress and, of course, congratulate all of our winners! 👏

🎟️ COMPETITION WINNER! 🏆⚽️

Thornaby Town Coaching recently gave away 2 pairs of tickets, and here’s our second winner, Myles. enjoying his prize at the Riverside Stadium! 🙌

It was Myles’ first-ever game, and what a game to start with! 🔴⚪️ An electric atmosphere, an incredible match and Middlesbrough grabbing the winner in the final few moments! ⚽️🔥

We’re delighted Myles got to experience such a memorable first game — and what a way to do it!

What a fantastic day for FC Teesside Thornaby U9s as they finished runners up in their very first tournament as a team!👏⚽️

We genuinely could not be more proud of these lads. ❤️

With the majority of the players coming through our academy and only recently coming together as a team, the progress they have already made has been incredible. They’ve grown, developed, learnt so much and, most importantly, they’re building something really special together. 💙

To go out and compete in their first ever tournament and come away as runners up is a fantastic achievement and something they should all be extremely proud of.

This is just the beginning, and we’re so excited to see what the future holds for this group! 🌟
