A lovely day today visiting Teesside Golf Club for the staging of our Championship, played in conjunction with our Assistants event.

45 professionals battled it out over 36 holes around Teesside golf course, which celebrates 125 years in 2026.👏 👏

Many thanks to the club for allowing us to stage our biggest tournament of the year on their superb golf course 🙏

Following a 71 this morning, Martyn Stubbings of Seaton Carew Golf Club cruised round in 67 this afternoon, for a 6 under par total of 138 to become the NorthEast NorthWest PGA Champion for 2026….

The Assistants event went to a playoff with a repeat of 2025, when both Michael Skelton and Jack McCall tied on a score of one under par 143. At the first extra hole, a par was enough for Jack to lift the Assistants title!

Our next Order of Merit event is on July 7th, when we visit Matfen Hall for the N&D Open, when the best amateurs in the North of England will be joining us.
