Hello All. It is an exciting day!! Today is the first day of our 10 week adult tennis courses at Leake Tennis Club, at the HRAP just off the A19 near Knayton.

Whether you are already a player and would like to learn more tips on improving your game or starting from scratch, we cater for you!!

Over the years the fireworks and bonfire display at HRAP has been a great success, with hundreds of people attending and raising thousands for charities.

Last year we reluctantly had to cancel the annual display because we just didn’t have enough organisers. We really need a small group of people to volunteer to the ‘Fireworks Committee’ so that the event can go ahead. This is a core group that will help to organise the events with many other volunteers helping on the day with parking, marshalling and refreshments etc. We have all the necessary insurances and risk assessments in place so it’s all ready for a new group to pick up the ball and run with it.

It would be a great shame if we couldn’t run the event this year and whilst November may seem a long way off at the moment – we need to order the fireworks in the next month if this year’s event is to go ahead. So don’t delay – it’s a once a year event and just needs a few meetings with a great group of people to make it happen again. Please message us if you can help.

Hello to all you future Conquestadors of the courts!

In the age of convenience and same day deliveries, people don't want to be planning ahead, and most don't even know what they are doing tommorow, never mind this time next week.

You look out of the window, the sun is shining, and you have an urge to play Tennis and you want to do it now!

Or maybe you are driving up the A19 and see the sign fo Knayton, you are organised and have your racket in the car, you can ring a freind and say, i want to play Tennis and i will be there in 2 minutes, bring your best game...

You dont want to book something in for the first Tuesday in March, as it might well be thrashing down, or heaven forbid, you have come down with a severe bout of Tennis Elbow.

Well fear not Your forward thinking Tennis Club have got you covered.

Now, the I do appriciate is it rather tricky to take a photo of a QR code appearing on your phone, so very shortly, this very QR code will be appearing on a poster next to the court gate!

We simply take your very inexpensive payment (£10 per hour) and send you the gate entry code.

It does save time to pre-register now, whilst its too dark outside to play lovely Tennis.
