Are you looking to take your first step into gymnastics coaching?

There’s a coaching course running this October — and these courses don’t come around very often, so this is a fantastic opportunity to get involved, develop your skills and start working towards a recognised coaching qualification.

🤸 Homeschool Gymnastics at Richmondshire Thirsk Dales Gymnastics! 🤸

Looking for a fun, active and welcoming daytime activity for your homeschool family?

Join us for our Homeschool Gymnastics sessions at our Thirsk site, held on the first Monday of every month from 11:00am–12:00pm.

Our sessions help children develop:

⭐ Balance and control
⭐ Confidence
⭐ Coordination

Using a wide range of gymnastics apparatus, children can explore, learn and progress at their own pace in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿English TeamGym Championships 2026 – 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿Crewe

What a fantastic day for our teams at the English TeamGym Championships in Crewe, with five Richmondshire TD Gymnastics teams representing the club.

Our Junior Level 2 Mixed team enjoyed a closely fought competition with our friends from the North East. In an exciting event, they produced some excellent routines to finish with a silver medal 🥈

Our Level 4 Girls stepped into the new Youth age category for the first time. They performed some impressive new skills and showed great potential as they begin their journey in this age group. 🥇

The Level 3 Women’s team faced strong competition from three Heathrow teams. Their consistency across both trampette and tumble was outstanding, with excellent performances on both pieces earning them a superb second-place finish. 🥈

Our Junior Level 2 Women’s team continued their consistent form, delivering strong trampette and tumble routines to finish top of their competition and become English Champions in the Junior Level 2 Women’s category. 🥇

Finally, our Inclusive 9–11 Team demonstrated the progress they have made through hard work and determination. Their improved routines were rewarded with the title of English Champions. 🥇

An outstanding weekend of TeamGym, with every team performing with determination and representing the club brilliantly. Congratulations to all of our gymnasts, coaches and supporters on a fantastic set of results. 💙

Just a reminder - Thirsk classes on Saturday have a mini break for the next two Saturdays as our Team gym competition squad have an exciting couple of weekends! This involves many of the coaching team and gymnasts / junior coaches who assist with Saturday classes .
We will update you on their progress over the coming weekends 💙
