Yorkshire Gliding Club

Yorkshire Gliding Club Offering full-time professional instruction in a fleet of modern gliders. Few airspace restrictions mean we can fly for miles around without hindrance.

Our site is situated on top of an escarpment at the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors National Park, and benefits from superb ridge lift, thermals, and cracking wave from the Pennines. We fly 7 days a week, 364 days a year (weather permitting), in what can only be described as one of the most perfect settings for gliding.
