It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of our own, Chris “Scooby” Wright, a loyal member of Thirsk & District Motor Club.

Chris sadly passed away on 3rd August 2026. A great guy who will be dearly missed by us all. Scoob was a true fighter right until the very end.
Our thoughts are with Chris’s family, friends and everyone who knew him at this incredibly difficult time.

RIP Scoob ❤️🏍️

Funeral service to be held at Maple Park Crematorium, Thirsk, on Thursday 27th August at 2:30pm. Please wear something casual and what you're comfortable in.
