2026 Fixtures

Here’s a copy of this seasons fixtures. New members still very welcome to join despite the season being underway. There is no requirement to be able to make all fixtures.

We are a small, friendly clay club welcoming all abilities inclusive of juniors. Please do get in touch should you have any questions.

First shoot of the season tomorrow (Sunday 12th April). All faces new & old welcome, no requirement for membership. Practice only.
10am start.

We are sad to inform you of the recent death of Roger Beaumont .
Roger was a very popular and well-respected member of the club in the early 2000s. He served on the committee and also as chairman. Roger had a cheery smile that put everyone at their ease.
We send our deepest sympathy ti his family, at this sad time.
His funeral will take place at Maple Park, Thirsk on 15th January at 11.30am..

Thank you to everyone who came to support our open shoot on Friday evening.
The top score of the night was Trevor Peel with 35 . Second place went to Ash Watson on a score of 33.
The top lady award went to Lynne Hardcastle for the 2nd year running. Lynn had a score of 32 .
Our top junior was Toby Ryder.
Trevor Peel very kindly donated part of his prize money to club funds.
Thank you to all our members who spent a hot afternoon setting up and getting the ground ready. A special thank you to Abbie Ryder and Helen for pitching in with secretarial duties.

Well done to everyone who took part in last night's Side by Side and Small Bore trophies.
The Side by Side was won by Andy Andrew Ryder on a score of 32. Second place went to Tony Haigh with 31 with Jim Burniston taking 3rd on 30.
The Small bore was won by our Chairman, Neil Yarker with a score of 38. Robert Matten was 2nd with 36. Andy Ryder and Craig Bainbridge took joint 3rd on a score of 35.
Special thanks to James Mcdonald for kindly providing the bbq.
