It’s not often my face is shown behind the project online. It’s normally face to face.
Yet this was a privilege to be there with Thirsk Falcons Football Club & Graham Woolston for their drive in donations to the organisation. What a response 73 boots handed over & now has a lovely home at Kodiak Self Storage unit. Thank you all down at the sports village ❤️

�A massive THANK YOU to everyone who has donated boots and shin pads to our boot collection!

Between the incredible support from Thirsk Falcons families and GW Football Academy , we've collected a staggering 73 pairs of boots — and the donations are still coming in!

We’re proud to be working with Sports Wear for all Thirsk an amazing initiative reducing waste and supporting families by providing much-needed sports gear. With the cost of equipment rising, these donations make a real difference — giving more children the chance to play, be part of a team, and grow in confidence.

Coming soon: A Boot Swap Shop at the club!�We’re aiming to set up a swap system to make boots even more accessible for our families – stay tuned!

🚨 Boot Drive Extended! 🚨

We’ve had an amazing response so far, but there’s still more boots and shin pads to collect! So, we’re keeping the drive going for ONE MORE WEEK! 🙌
Drop off any old football boots or shin pads at Sowerby Sports Pavilion during training or match times this week and weekend.

It’s that time of the year where we put away the soft ground boots and bring out the firm ground ones.
Some second hand ones from Vinted doing the job and in fantastic condition. Ready for summer rugby 🏉

What a start to our week, managed to move all of our stock & reorganise it all into the new home. So much more room and easily accessible to find stock quicker. Thank you Kodiak Self Storage again for the opportunity

We are super excited to announce we are joining Thirsk Homeless organisation in a new storage facility thanks to our amazing sponsor Kodiak Self Storage!

After out growing our storage year on year, it is time to move again to a more suitable site.
With the help of our local sponsor, we have been able to secure a new storage unit shared with another amazing non profit organisation!

We are grateful for all the support our local community gives to us as we continue to deliver our swap shop services in and around Thirsk.
