Ever wondered what happens to spent sh***un cartridges? ♻️
Our Grounds Team collects spent cartridges throughout the year, helping to keep waste out of landfill and put those materials to better use.
Every few months, the cartridges are collected for recycling. Here’s our most recent collection, taking an estimated 16 tonnes of cartridges off the estate.
The materials are then processed and repurposed into new products, including furniture and other useful components.
It’s just one of the practical ways we’re working to reduce our waste 🌱
