We’re looking forward to a fantastic parkrun on Saturday. We’re all aware it’s currently hotter than usual so need to follow a few sensible guidelines. Here’s hoping for plenty of happy runners, walkers, volunteers—and a few doggies enjoying a lie-in at home! ☀️💧🧢🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💚
NB we have a fair amount of shade on parts of our course but will have to look carefully at the temperature when we do our course check/set up on Saturday. Please check before you leave home in case we find we have no choice but to cancel…🤞🤞🤞

This week 218 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 36 were first timers and 11 recorded new Personal Bests.
We celebrated Sue and Sprouts birthdays 🎂

We welcomed so many tourists, from: Worcester, Downham Market, Lowestoft, Cambridge, Old Buckingham, Ipswich, Felixstowe, Somerset, Welwyn Garden City, Bury St Edmunds, East Harling, Be worth, Ely, Huntingdon, Harpingdon and from all across London!

Well done to everyone and a huge thank you to our volunteers for supporting us, many standing in the sun. We appreciate all you do to make our events so wonderful. Today's volunteers:

This week we celebrated one million parkrun events! All 233 runners and walkers and 25 volunteers all made this possible today! 🥳
🌍 We welcomed visitors from Caernarfon, Milton Keynes, Cambridge, Kettering, North Walsham, Cornwall, Honnington and Attleborough.
🎂 We celebrated birthdays for: Kate Measures, Belle turned 4 and Chris is 60 on Monday.
🏆 We also celebrated some amazing milestones: 50 Jamie Stone, 200 Kate Measures, 250 Ben Moss and 250 Peter Dunsdon!
We hope you had a good time with us today and have an awesome weekend. Don't forget we have junior parkrun tomorrow at Breckland Leisure Centre junior parkrun 🤩
