In recent years Shadwell has opened its doors and offers some of the finest driven game, Pheasant and Partridge shooting, within the beautiful Breckland countryside of Norfolk.

The Estate is developing a masterplan to support the long-term management of its land to the south and east of Thetford. The aim of this will be to help deliver positive opportunities that enhance and provide benefits to the environment, communities and businesses local to Thetford.

We would like to invite local residents and businesses to learn more about the early stage plans for the future of the Thetford estate, and let us know what you think. Your feedback will help guide the next stages of work and ensure community views are carefully considered as these plans continue to develop.

200 bird partridge and pheasant days now available at Shadwell Estate for the 2026/2027 season. We offer excellent Norfolk shooting with a full day's catering and gun trailer transport for Β£52 per bird inc. VAT, that's Β£10,400 for the day. From arrival at the shoot lodge, the package for 10 includes bacon rolls, refreshments in the field, Elevenses and a post shoot 3 course lunch cooked by our chef.
