Some of the conditions Harriet, Elo, Owen and Charlie faced on their 3 Peaks Challenge

Harriet, Elo, Owen and Charlie wanted to share photos taken during their 3 Peak Challenge.

As you’ll see from the photos the weather was horrendous at times making the task even more difficult

They completed the challenge in 23 Hours 57 mins even with a road closure.

They wanted to make special mention and a huge thank you to Club Captain Mark Twogood and his wife Justine for all their support during the challenge making sure they were fed and watered and a constant support, along with all the driving to and from each peak. This was an incredible help and really helped make the difference.

They also want to thank all the members, non members, family members and friends who have donated so far, they are just £398 short of their £5k target so let’s get them through their target and support the Fragile X Society as well as recognising the incredibly achievement from the 4 of them.

We’ll post some videos also on here shortly which also gives a great perspective on the conditions they faced but showed the teamwork and togetherness they had pushing each other through when the going was tough.

Amazing achievement in the worst conditions

Massive well done to Harriet, Elo, Owen and Charlie on completing the 3 Peaks Challenge within the 24 Hours

Total walking distance - 23 Miles
Total Ascent - 10,052 feet

Ben Nevis - 5:25
Scafell Pike - 3:55
Snowdon - 3:43

Only 40% who attempt this complete it, so with the conditions they faced makes their achievement even more remarkable.
