Results! A tough weekend with two defeats. Saturday saw our visitors post a high total despite an early flurry of wickets, which we came close to chasing but couldn't quite get over the line. Sunday's run chase was slightly less close, our hosts impressing with both bat and ball. Our thanks go to Haverhill for being excellent hosts in more ways than one!

Our players of the weekend, sponsored by AJW Distribution LTD, are Nick for an excellent near-century on Saturday, and Vicky for a sterling effort with the bat and in the field on Sunday.

Result! After Saturday's game was abandoned due to the weather, Sunday's game saw us bat first and pitch a decent score, with runs spread throughout the order. A disciplined bowling performance followed against our visitors' resilient lower order.

Lineup! Today's game against BT Waldringfield has fallen victim to the weather, with Hadleigh Academy our visitors tomorrow.

Result! 🏏Just the one game at the weekend, with our visitors posting a score of 137, with some excellent bowling and catching in the field. A dogged run chase followed, losing a few wickets but eventually seeing it across the line!

Our player of the match, sponsored by AJW Distribution LTD, is Gavin for a committed batting performance against some quality bowling. A shoutout too to Reece for 3 wickets from 6 maidens!

This weekend sees two games, away to BT Waldringfield on Saturday before the visit of Hadleigh Academy on Sunday.

🏏Result! An excellent win and all-round effort yesterday, with a high score followed by a clinical bowling and fielding performance.

Player of the match, sponsored by AJW Distribution LTD, is Dan, who scored a maiden century and personal best score of 110. A very honourable mention too to Matt, who got a fifer and personal best bowling figures of 5-13!

Next up sees Sudbourne Hall as our visitors on Saturday 🏠

🏏Results! A super weekend of cricket with two home wins. Saturday saw resilient batting throughout the order pitch a score just under 200. Some solid bowling and great catching saw the game out. Our Sunday game started in the field, keeping our visitors' score down before a successful run chase.

Two great games of cricket, even if a bit chilly at times. Next week sees just the one game, Sunday away at Hadleigh 🚗
