Empowerment & enabling are not the same thing.

Doing everything for someone can sometimes stop them
from reconnecting with themselves.

Because when a woman is constantly rescued, corrected, or fixed…
she slowly stops trusting her own voice, decisions, and capability.

Real empowerment says:

✨ I believe you can do this.
✨ I’ll support you without removing your power.
✨ I’ll hold space without taking over.

That’s the difference.

Fixing focuses on what’s “wrong.”
Empowerment reconnects a woman to who she already is.

Identity grows through self-trust.
Through choice.
Through being allowed to think, feel, decide & rise in her own way.

Sometimes helping too much actually disconnects someone from themselves.

And sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is remind a woman she was never incapable to begin with. 🤍

Week 3 was more than I could have wished for & I am truly grateful for:

🙏 Insightful into coping mechanisms which were necessary in past times but can be reframed or released in this chapter of life
🙏 Reflective on so many levels, I had
goosebumps
🙏 Inspirational discussions
🙏 Circumstantial behaviours, actions &
boundaries navigated
🙏 Recognition of our resilience & where
we are now

I absolutely love it when I see the shifts, the release & the recognition that my ladies get when I am in my zone of coaching, empowering & more importantly enabling women who are ready to take the first step in their next chapter of "The Woman They Are Becoming" 💖

I will be at the Mermaid Cafe Bar & Restaurant for the next 4 Wednesdays & available for a chat in person at 12 until 12.30pm if anyone is interested in knowing more. You can also reach out to me via my website below or direct message me here.

Journal hardcopy is available to order currently working on PDF format to become available via website imminently.

Just because it’s easy for them, doesn't mean it’s easy for you.

And it definitely doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with you.

There’s a quiet moment that happens when you’re facing something new,
something unfamiliar…

And someone says:
“Oh, it’s not that hard.”
“You’ll be fine.”
“I’ve done it loads of times.”

And suddenly,
you stop trusting your own experience.

You question yourself.
Your capability.
Even your identity.

Why does this feel so big for me?
Why am I struggling with this?

But what’s often missed is this:

They’re speaking from familiarity.
You’re standing in the unknown.

Of course it feels different.

Minimising language can make you doubt yourself not because you’re incapable,
but because your experience is being compared to someone else’s timeline.

You’re not behind.
You’re in a different moment.

You don’t need to shrink your experience to match someone else’s confidence.

You’re allowed to be where you are...... 🤍 💖

What an AMAZING morning and a perfect start to my first Women's
Workshop!

So grateful to the ladies in attendance for some honest and real conversations with the aim of growth 📈 into the "Women They Are Becoming"

Growth for many women isn’t about becoming someone new.

It’s about the quiet shift from the woman you’ve had to be, to the woman you actually are.

The woman who adapted.
Who carried.
Who showed up for everyone else.

And the woman who is now learning to:
– listen to herself
– honour her needs
– choose differently
– and live with more alignment

This kind of growth isn’t loud or immediate.
It’s subtle.
It’s honest.
And often, it’s uncomfortable.

Because it asks you to release versions of yourself
that once kept you safe.

But you’re not losing who you were.

You’re evolving beyond what no longer fits.

And that’s where real, sustainable change begins...💖

Thank you to the The Mermaid Cafe bar & Restaurant for hosting us, you are as ever the perfect team & place to be!
