When will squash make the olympics?
Not before skateboarding at this rate!

After yet another campaign to earn a place at the Olympics, squash was knocked back for Tokyo 2020. The players who market the sport every four years are tired of the charade and deserve to be told why their faces do not fit

Greetings all,

Both courts this evening from 6:45pm until close. I will see you there.

Also, remember to attend Sunday session from 3pm until close.

Balls and grips are available from reception.

As part of ongoing work to further drive/promote the game in the surrounding area, I am continually working behind the scenes with various people affiliated with Centres and England Squash. We (incl manager) have now put forward a proposal once again for a squash only membership.

****I now have an England Squash Level Accredited Coaching Qualification - Advertising at Kennet and local area will begin over the coming month and will be for both squash and Racketball and will be for here and Northcroft initially****

I will be targeting both juniors and adults. So bare this in mind if you want to work on aspects of your game and if you know anyone that are interested in starting/returning and/or wanting to improve aspects of their game.

Please contact me for any questions/further information/pricing on this. I will also look to do some £5 per person drop in sessions now and then for league members, ideally for 4 or more where we will mix some games with drills working on certain movement/shot types to help elevate aspects of your game. So if you and a few others are interested, let me know.

Hi All,

On Sunday 9th March there is a free Women's Squash Open Morning at Northcroft (Newbury) between 10am and 12pm.
This has been organised to encourage more female players to start playing squash or return to the game if they have had some time out. Also, it is hoped some of the women who play alongside friends but have not joined a league will feel more confident in signing up!

There will be some drills and games with a coach, Jon Hope.
Please find the poster attached and forward it to any colleague/friend/sister/partner/daughter etc who might be interested (even if they have never played squash before- all levels are welcome)!

Darrell- although the Open Morning is taking place at Newbury, it is being advertised for players in the local area, so where people attend from Thatcham I will forward them your contact details for the league.
