On Friday, we said goodbye to Abbie, another one of our fantastic swim teachers who is heading off to university. 🎓

Abbie has been much more than a swim teacher — she’s also a lifeguard and a Duty Manager, and has been a valued member of the team across the site.

Her hard work, dedication and friendly nature will be missed by both colleagues and customers alike.

Aquatics GB, in partnership with Scottish Swimming and Swim England, is looking for young people aged 12–16 with a background in gymnastics, acrobatics, trampoline or similar sports to take part in the Fast Track Talent Transfer programme.

We’re looking for a Contract Health, Activity & Wellbeing Manager to join Everyone Active in West Berkshire and lead the delivery of our Activity, Health & Wellbeing Strategy across the contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference within our local communities, working with leisure centres, local authorities, Public Health, NHS services, voluntary organisations and community partners.

What you’ll be doing:
• Leading health, activity and wellbeing initiatives across West Berkshire
• Developing programmes that help reduce health inequalities and get more people active
• Building strong partnerships with local organisations and community groups
• Leading and developing our Exercise Referral programme and referral pathways
• Using local insight and evidence to create impactful and sustainable services
• Supporting teams to deliver measurable outcomes and lasting community impact

What we’re looking for:
• A relevant health or sports qualification, degree or equivalent experience
• A flexible approach to working, including some evenings and weekends
• Someone passionate about helping people live healthier, more active lives
