Today’s lesson: cleans are HARD. 😅
There were a few failed attempts, plenty of moments where the bar didn’t quite go where I wanted it to, and lots of technique corrections along the way. But eventually, everything clicked just enough for me to get a few decent reps in.
The feeling of finally catching the lift after working through the mistakes was incredibly rewarding.
I know I’ve got a long way to go and a lot to improve technically, but this is definitely a lift I want to spend more time working on. There’s something so satisfying about the combination of power, speed, coordination, and skill that it demands.
With Turf Games just around the corner, I’m trying to prepare as much as possible and build confidence in every movement.

Bulgarian split squats with a little help from the rack for stability 👀
Some people see that as a regression… I see it as being smarter with my training.
Having that extra stability meant I could really push the working leg properly — 25kg dumbbells for 20 reps 🔥 And if muscle growth is the goal… volume matters.
Less balancing, more loading.
Less ego, more intention.
Training has felt a bit all over the place lately if I’m honest. Work, kids, life… it’s been a lot, and training has definitely taken a bit of a back seat at times. Feeling a little anxious about Turf Games in June too 😅
But showing up imperfectly still counts.
Adjusting isn’t failing.
Training smarter isn’t cheating.
And consistency through busy seasons matters more than chasing perfection 💪

75kg ➡️ 105kg hip thrust 🔥
This didn’t happen during a “perfect” phase.
Life’s been busy.
Cardio hasn’t been consistent.
Nutrition hasn’t been on point.
Some days I’ve felt like I’m not giving 100%.
But this right here is your reminder (and mine):
Progress doesn’t require perfection.
It happens when you keep showing up — even at 70%, even when life feels full, even when things aren’t dialled in.
Little victories like this remind me why I do it…
Because I love it. ❤️
Keep going. Even when it’s not perfect. That’s where the real wins are.

Life has been a LOT lately… so I’ve been a bit MIA.
Just out here lifing while life keeps lifing 🤯
But even when things feel heavy, I’ve still been putting the work in behind the scenes — because honestly, training is the one thing that keeps me grounded, focused, and moving forward.
So here’s me dragging 237.5kg on the sled 💪🔥
Heavy therapy hits different.
No matter what season you’re in — keep showing up. Even if it’s quiet. Even if it’s messy. Especially then.

27.5kg PB on barbell overhead press 🏋️‍♀️🔥
This is by far the lift I feel least confident with. Getting that bar over my head feels heavy every single time, and not using a little leg drive takes serious focus 😅
Tried to push for 30kg… only got 3 reps — but honestly, that tells me there’s still room to grow 💭
Progress isn’t always pretty, and confidence doesn’t come before strength — it comes from showing up.
So I’ll keep turning up, stay consistent, and trust the process 🧠💪
One rep at a time.

40kg BENCH PRESS PB 💥
This one makes me extra happy. I genuinely love bench press. It makes me feel strong, focused, and slightly unhinged in the best way.
Hitting a 40kg PB just fuels the fire. I’m excited to keep building, refining, and getting even stronger with this lift. Slow progress, solid reps, and a lot more plates in my future.
Strength is addictive. 💪

87.5kg DEADLIFT PB 💥
So proud of this one. This whole training block I honestly didn’t feel confident with deadlifts at all — they felt heavy, awkward, and mentally tough. But today was proof that consistency > confidence.
I showed up, trusted the process, and pulled more than I ever have before. A big reminder that progress is still happening even when it doesn’t feel like it.
On to the next 🖤💪

Still, I got to train in the stunning studio where I work — and honestly, I LOVED it. The space is so calm, bright and uplifting… it’s impossible not to feel motivated in here.
A little reminder that your environment matters. Surround yourself with places that make you feel strong, focused, and inspired — the workout just follows naturally. 🔥✨
