Enjoy, learn & Achieve These Easter courses are for beginners and regular players and for children aged 5-15 years, based at MP Academy sports ground on the Kingsey Road. There will be soft and hard ball practice and working on batting, fielding and catching as well as lots of games. These courses are great fun and will be held course 1 on March 30 th 31st and 1 st April and course 2 April 7th 8th & 9 th . You can attend for a whole course, or just one or two days. Following the success of our junior tournaments, **MP Cricket Academy** is launching an **Adult Midweek 100-Ball League** this summer!

FREE Winter Cricket Coaching for Ages 5–9 (Sept–Nov 2025)

MP Sports Development Trust & MP Sports Cricket Academy is proud to announce our Soft Ball Winter Nets programme for children aged 5–9 (school years 1–4). This initiative is completely free of charge, to help young players develop their skills in a supportive environment.

Details:

Location: Lord Williams Lower School Indoor Sports Hall, Queen’s Rd, Thame, OX9 3NQ

Time: Sundays, 4:00–5:00pm

Dress code: All children must wear appropriate indoor, non marking footwear, shorts or trousers, and a MP Cricket Academy T-shirt

Dates:

September: 28th

October: 5th, 12th, 19th

November: 2nd, 9th, 16th

What we offer:

High-quality coaching from ECB-qualified coaches (Levels 2–3)

Safe, fun sessions designed to build skills and confidence

Use of indoor nets, bowling machines, and training equipment

This programme is designed to ensure that every child, regardless of background, has the opportunity to stay active, engaged, and get ready for the cricket season next year.

Dear all,
I hope you are well and are enjoying the beautiful weather for the long weekend!
This Sunday we have U14 Middlesex school vs U14 Gloucestershire match at the MP Academy Sports Ground ground, the game will start at 11 pm and should be over by 5 pm, anyone that would like to come watch is most welcome!
The tuckshop will be open as well, all proceeds go towards our Development Trust.
