Massive thanks to the Thame United FC first team as they invited our U10 boys to be mascots for Saturday's game vs Hadley FC. A brilliant opportunity for the boys to meet Ben and the team and demonstrating once again our commitment to being a community club.

Thame ran out 2-1 winners in the end, so smiles all round !

Thame United's first pre-season game is against Wembley FC tomorrow (Tuesday 11th July) evening 7 45pm KO on the 3G.

It gives us great pleasure to announce that the U16s Fair Play award for the Wycombe and South Bucks Minor Football League has been awarded to Thame United U16 Red, coming first out of a possible 52 teams. This award recognises the outstanding commitment to fair play by players, coaches and supporters of the team, across the season. Congratulations !

More news on Thame United teams reaching finals of tournaments.

Firstly, well done to Thame U15 Girls black who were runners up at the Heyford tournament today they played really well against some really tough teams only losing the final narrowly 2-1!

Also, a big shout out to Thame United U12's, who were runners up at the Aston Clinton Colts Tournament at the weekend despite stiff competition from teams across London and Buckinghamshire! Huge thanks to coaches Tim, Dan and Taf for their dedication and support and to B P Collins law firm for sponsoring the team.

AGM UPDATE: Due to the recent resignations the remaining board members of TFP have decided to postpone the AGM for a few weeks. This will allow time for prospective new board members to apply. The new AGM date will be advised in due course.

Here are the U12 Boys team who won their final on Saturday afternoon.

And that's a wrap ! Another successful Thame Festival of Football. Across both days we had 270 teams compete, circa 2200 players and had 15 referees on each day who controlled the games to a high standard.

Thanks you to everyone that supported us with what is a very important fund raising event for our community club. Your help is gratefully appreciated.
