Restriction Season
Everybody is so hyper focused on restriction right now
Whether thats dry January, giving up chocolate or counting calories but whilst that can help January is also a good time to ADD something….
ADD a portion of Greens and a sprinkle of colour to your meals - most of us are so focused on the “meat and potatoes” of a meal we often end up with a beige plate and not much nutritional variety and it very easy to over consume more pasta or rice.
ADD a 20-30 min walk into your daily schedule, when life allows. - Theres a huge amount of people trying to diet themselves into oblivion right now, when they should spend more time improving their energy output and trying to move more through out the day. Check your average step count and try to add 2-3k every day, especially if its under 4k.
Don’t be shy to crank up the average with a big weekend walk for the win!
ADD Protein to every meal - we know so many new faces struggle with this initially but protein is completely essential, regulating appetite and promoting recovery which is crucial for anyone but especially if you’re currently training hard and trying to lose fat.
