Tewkesbury Town Football Club (TTFC) is the biggest amateur football club in the Tewkesbury area. We have two Senior Saturday teams, 1sts in Gloucestershire Northern Senior League Div 2, Reserves in Cheltenham Division 1, Sunday Team in Evesham Div 3, a Veterans Team in the North Gloucestershire Veterans League, a newly formed Ladies side in the Gloucestershire County Womens League Div 3, and a partnership with the youth set up Tewkesbury Town Colts FC. TTFC have various honours spanning across a history in excess of 100 years, with many League and Cup titles. Our Saturday Team is currently in Division One of the Cheltenham League. Our team's home ground is Northway Playing fields, where we have a long term lease. We recently secured Football Foundation funding for improvements to the pitches, and new goals. We maintain the pitches ourselves through tireless hours given by our volunteers. We train on Wednesday evenings at 7pm at Northway Playing fields (May-August) and the astroturf at Tewkesbury School for the rest of the year, and new faces are always welcome! 1st team 2-1 Stoke Gifford SGS United
The 1st team travelled to Stoke Gifford and as expected a tough encounter was played out. Opposition was disciplined and went 1-0 up through good play out wide. 2nd half the lads regrouped and took control creating multiple chances. A deserved equalised came from great individual work from Jamie Goodwin. The stubborn SGS defence was broken late in the game by a quality cross from Benji and finished by Alex Roder in the dying seconds for a well deserved 3 points on the road. Reserve Team 0-3 Tuffley Rovers Reserves
The Reserves team faced a high quality Tuffley side that will be favourites for the league title. The first half we matched them, albeit gifting them a goal midway through. The second half again, the lads battled hard, but created few chances. Bailey Spark in his now regular goalkeeping position pulling off many great saves. As the lads tired, Tuffley grabbed a goal midway, and then in the dying minutes.

Quedgeley Wanderers (Pens) 2-2 TTFC 1sts
The 1sts travelled to Quedgeley for the first round of the Les James League Cup. The boys started the game well but found themselves a goal down early doors from a corner that wasn’t cleared.

The second half saw the hosts double their lead early on but was almost immediately halved when some good work from the front boys resulted in Naz finishing well. The equaliser duly followed after more good link up play and an equally tidy finish from Naz. The rest of the game was end to end with a couple of good chances falling to the visitors but ultimately the game finished 2-2 and the tie was decided on penalties.

Tewkesbury missed two of their first three which put them on the back foot and although Quedgeley missed one, ultimately the hosts advanced to the next round.

We stayed in the game throughout the first half, battling hard and creating a few chances of our own despite Harrow threatening regularly. Bailey Spark made several excellent saves to keep us within touching distance, but conceding just before the break was a real disappointment.
The second half followed a similar pattern. The lads continued to work tirelessly and showed plenty of determination, but with only two substitutes available, we eventually ran out of steam and conceded again late on. Even so, the effort and commitment from everyone were outstanding.

Welland Res 1-4 TTFC Devs
Our Development team kicked off their season with a convincing 4-1 win. They looked better all over the pitch and were threatening in attack all game. The final score was the result of lots of hard work, and the attitude and approach that all players had from the moment they turned up, right through to the final whistle. An excellent start to the season.

TTFC Reserves 2-4 Old Richians

A struggling start in the Gloucestershire Northern Senior League with just the three points from five league matches. Each defeat walking off, just like yesterday knowing we were the better teams for spells of the match, but not enough throughout to get points.

We went in HT at 1-0 down. Early in the 2nd half Jordan Huggins converted a penalty to make it 1-1. 60 Minutes in Charlie Deary got dismissed for a tangle with the striker that the referee deemed to be denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity.
With us down to 10 men, Old Richians capitalised and scored 3 in the the following 20 minutes. We brought it back to 4-2 with Harry Heath calmly slotting in a rebounded save from the keeper. We pressed and pressed for the final 10 but the match ended 4-2.

Next week the Reserves travel to what will be a tough away day at Harrow Hill.
Also, the 1st team travel to Quedgeley Wanderers in the league cup, and the Development team season starts hosting Welland.
Next Sunday the Veterans team season opens playing a strong opposition in last seasons runners up, Shurdington Rovers.

The 1st team battled to a hard-earned point at Filton, opening the scoring through Dan Beasley and striking the post late on before enduring two disallowed goals. A gritty away performance backed by Man of the Match Lee Llewelyn sees the points shared.

The Reserves picked up their first league points against a struggling Fintan. 2-1 at half time, then the floodgates opened.

Last night the Reserve team travelled to Lydney Town Reserves from the Division above in the Reg Davis knockout cup.
A solid first half with goals from Rhys Allen and Nathan Newland Gallaway.
The 2nd half Lydney pressed, and got a goal back. A backs to the wall last 20 for Town who defended solidly, but managed to hold on for a 2-1 win, to set up a next round match vs Stonehouse Town Reserves next Thursday.

TTFC Reserves 0-1 Bream Amateurs

The Reserves lost 1-0 this afternoon in their first match in GNSL Div 2.
A game we felt we had enough possession and control to get something out of, but a weak clearance from a ball into the box dropped to a Bream striker who took advantage of the opportunity to power it in which was one of few chances we gave them. Bream defended well and absorbed all of our pressure.
We had plenty of attacking football, but rarely tested their keeper.

Many lads with their debuts in the Northern Senior Leagues didn't look out of place, and Rhys Allen with MOM on his first match for the club.

After what feels not very long since the 2025/26 season finished, we go again!

The Reserves play their first ever match this afternoon in the Gloucestershire Northern Senior League hosting Bream Amateurs.
We are on a slightly later 4pm kick off on Tewkesbury School Astro.
