Hello mooorers , hope you are planning on enjoying the river in this lovely weather this weekend? Just to let you know we will be using the meadow for day parking for a wedding this will be stewarded before the ceremony at 1pm. So please keep music off between 1 and 1.30.

Following this the bride riding her horse will be making an appearance and possibly some guests in the meadow for photos between 1.30 and 2.45. But we don’t need to restrict you on anything during this time other than maybe dogs on leads please.

URGENT

Access to the Moorings is closed with immeadiate effect due to an incident in the vicinity. All vehicles and boats currently not moored are requested to stay 200m away until further notice.

Please continue to avoid the area. There are many boats stuck this side of the bridge.

It has been very busy all day.

Our thoughts are with the families of those involved in the accident.

WARNING

Eckington bridge is closed to all road and river users due to an accident overnight. Please avoid the area.

All boats at Twyning Park are safe and well. The boat that is drifting is not from here. Hopefully the owners will be found soon as it is currently in the field opposite the fleet.

Water levels still rising and running fast. Boats all still coping well at the moment.

River levels are currently a lot lower than the last few days, however we expect the levels to rise again in the next 12 - 24 hours. The boats all seem to be coping fine at the moment. We will update individual owners if there are any concerns.
