Tough day yesterday. Bike was stalling on the line. Q4 today Jake rode it off the line nice and steady through to a 9.76 on a 9.50 dial in. PB at 142 mph and qualified 15th. Made some adjustments for Q5 at 1405. Fingers crossed.

So a successful weekend at Santa Pod Raceway 7 runs and only 0.5 between our fastest run and our slowest. The bike and rider are getting more consistent. Unfortunately knocked out in round 1 by Phil Pratt the current ET Bike champion. But the bike is still in one piece.

At last success. Last round of qualifying and Jake had to make the finish line or he wouldn’t qualify. Dialed in 10.00 and ran a 9.994 and broke out by 0.006 but qualified and a new PB on speed and time. Well done Jake😀

So yesterday I drove back to Tewkesbury to get a spare set of carbs. Came back to Santa Pod Raceway replaced the damaged parts. Unfortunately the bike launched hard and almost stalled. Jake managed to catch it in time. Then burnt through the clutch. New replacement clutch last night. Fingers crossed for today.

Well the new motor is up & running. Going to run it in on the dyno then bolt the turbo back on. Two weeks until festival of power at Santa Pod Raceway
