The Met Office has issued a Red Warning for extreme heat from 09:00 on Wednesday to 21:00 on Thursday. A Red Warning is the highest level of weather alert and indicates potential danger to life, along with significant risks to power supplies and transport services.

In light of this, our venues and facilities (including sports halls and 3G pitches) will be closed on Wednesday 24 June and Thursday 25 June.
This decision has not been taken lightly; however, the safety and wellbeing of all users remains our top priority.

All sessions affected by this closure will be fully refunded.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding.

💧 Drowning Prevention Week 💧

Here at Tewkesbury Sports Centre, we’re proud to support the Royal Life Saving Society UK’s Drowning Prevention Week, taking place from 13 to 20 June. It’s a great reminder of how we can all stay safe and look out for each other around water 💙

The Water Safety Code is a simple guide to help you enjoy every swim safely:

🔵 Stop and think – take a moment to spot potential dangers
🔵 Stay together – always stay close to others and never swim alone
🔵 Float – if you fall in, lie on your back, relax and breathe
🔵 Call for help – shout for help and call 999 or 112

Whether you’re heading to the pool, coast or open water, these small steps can make a big difference. Let’s make every visit to the water a safe one 🌊

We have opened some slots during the summer holidays for groups, clubs and families who wish to hire the pool on a private basis. These slots run daily from 11.15-12.15 ⏰

We are offering pool parties and private hire ⛔️

Pool parties cost £100 for 1 hour pool hire and 1 hour party room hire 🥳🎉🎂

Private pool hire prices start from £63.22 per hour for a 1 hour session 👍

If you fall in or get into trouble, stay calm. Float on your back and call for help.
See someone struggling? Throw something that floats, like a football. Call 999, ask for the Coastguard if you’re at the coast.
Never enter the water to attempt a rescue.

Make sure children know what to do. It could save a life. Start by taking 5 minutes to learn the water safety code: www.rlss.org.uk/water-safety-code
