The usual action from the Tope today but we’ve also been switching things up and targeting some different species on lighter tackle 🤘🏻

Always cool to see these beautiful little fish coming aboard Red Mullet and plenty of awesome sport on the light rods with the Black Bream small but mighty! 🐟

🎣 BASS SEASON IS STARTING TO HEAT UP🎣

Thursday’s bass trip produced some great stamp bass, with every angler getting amongst the action! Some cracking fish came home for the table, while plenty were returned safely to the big blue.

With the fishing only getting better as we head into late August and September, now is a brilliant time to get out and target these fish!

The action has been consistent, with plenty of fish coming over the rails and some seriously good sport along the way!

We’re right in the middle of the crazy season now and it’s absolutely non-stop aboard Triton. We’ve been flat out keeping everyone on the fish, and it’s brilliant to see so many happy anglers enjoying what our coastline has to offer!

Fun couple hours on the reefs today 🤙🏼

Today’s sports trip was all about bottom fishing on the reefs and the action didn’t disappoint. Plenty of conger kept everyone on their toes, along with some cracking bass for the table and a great variety of species to keep the rods bending all day.

When the skipper gets a go 🤘🏻

After spotting the birds working yesterday, I couldn’t resist having a few casts myself. After picking off a few smaller bass, this absolute beast smashed the lure and had the drag screaming! A cracking 67cm sea bass weighing in at just over 7lb its one I’ll remember for a long time.

The Penn Wrath II handled the fight flawlessly. Smooth drag, lightweight and more than capable of stopping a fish like this when it mattered. PENN Fishing Europe

The fish fell to a STORM Biscay white pearl sand eel 21g lure by Storm Lures International simple, effective and always my first choices when targeting bass.
