Tenbury Badminton Club is a friendly club, playing on
Tuesday 7:15 - 9:45pm (4 courts)
Friday 7.15 - 9.15pm (4 courts)
We are both a social and competitive club playing in the Herefordshire league and Worcestershire league. We're a friendly local club with mixed abilities who mostly play fun games but we do also field several teams in the Herefordshire Badminton Association leagues. Unfortunately we do not have the coaching capabilities to cope with complete beginners at the sport, but can always point people in the direction of a club that can. Club nights are on Tuesday and Friday between 7:15pm - 9:15pm at Tenbury High School's sports hall during the Autumn, Spring and Summer school terms

We also have a lively social scene, often retiring to the 'Pembroke' public house in the town to re hydrate and put on at least one social event (Curry, BBQ etc) takes place every term for members and their partners. Visitors can sometimes be accommodated as long as they are booked in first (so we know to expect them) with the Club Secretary, and due to the fact that our four league teams have to play their home matches on 'Club' nights, we regret we are unable to have visitors on those occasions.

RESULT: The mens (open) B team stood strong and took all the points against our new up and coming C team. It is the second league season for our C team but lots of positives to take from the match!!! Both teams now move on to face the rest of the teams in the Herefordshire badminton mens open 2nd division. Sponsorship of teams available!!!

Congratulations to Tenbury B, with commiserations to Tenbury C, after doing battle on Friday. Further congrats to Ryan (B Team), and Christie (C Team) for their Player of the Match wins!

Tonight, occurring every Tuesday, we're now running until 9:45pm, on what is our first full week of Badminton season. Come join us from 7:15pm- look forward to seeing you there!
