Tenbury Badminton Club

Tenbury Badminton Club Tenbury Badminton Club is a friendly sports club, playing on Tuesdays and Fridays 7.15-9.15 (with an optional pint up the pub after on a Friday!!).

We also field teams in the league for those with a competitive streak. We're a friendly local club with mixed abilities who mostly play fun games but we do also field several teams in the Herefordshire Badminton Association leagues. Unfortunately we do not have the coaching capabilities to cope with complete beginners at the sport, but can always point people in the direction of a club that can. C

lub nights are on Tuesday and Friday between 7:15pm - 9:15pm at Tenbury High School's sports hall during the Autumn, Spring and Summer school terms

We also have a lively social scene, often retiring to the 'Pembroke' public house in the town to re hydrate and put on at least one social event (Curry, BBQ etc) takes place every term for members and their partners. Visitors can sometimes be accommodated as long as they are booked in first (so we know to expect them) with the Club Secretary, and due to the fact that our four league teams have to play their home matches on 'Club' nights, we regret we are unable to have visitors on those occasions.

We're on again tonight from 7:15pm at Tenbury High Sports Hall Whilst two courts will be available, tonight, we're on for an extra half-hour, finishing at 9:45pm tonight- giving you plenty of time for a knock around!

Tonight, our Men's C finished off their season 2-4 against a very precise performance from Wye C. Congrats to Captain Dan for his 2nd POTM on the trot!

Our Mixed Team drew 3-3 against Ross. Congrats to Christie for winning the POTM, there!

Just because the tournament season is drawing to a close, does not mean that we are as a club! We'll still be running in the weeks to come- same time, same place. Would be great to see you there!

Our Men's C team experienced a very hard-fought 4-2 loss tonight v Leominster B in what was a very even, and unpredictable set of games. Congratulations to Captain Dan on the Man of the Match! The C team have their last game of the season next Friday. We'll be keeping our fingers crossed for them!

Congrats once again to our Mixed Team, who won an away game against Wye last night. Congratulations to Prathush on getting Player of the Match!

Last night, our C team fought a hard loss 5-1 against Tupsley. Congratulations, though, to Player of the Match, Tom, who took part in his first-ever league game. So, whether, you're looking to have a casual knockabout, or are looking to participate in league games, we can cater to you.
