When looking at things that cause you stress.
Have you considered looking at the boundaries you have in place?

Do you always say Yes? then immediately regret it as you are already struggling?

Do you put everyone else first, forgetting about you?

Do you come away from some people feeling drained as they sucked all your energy away?
Or frustrated that its all about them, never you?

Having a hard look and putting boundaries in place can have a positive impact on how you feel, you start to control the reins again.

Small steps, small changes leads to big changes.

That is what my coaching programmes offer. Along with empathy, support, accountability, encouragement and a push when you need it!

To find out how you can get control of your life, drop a comment or message.

Starting the programme now would have you ready to face the silly season, being less stressed but also able to enjoy it.

Menopause in the Workplace - the impact.

Somewhere there is someone whose performance has dropped and being threatened with a PIP.
Somewhere there is someone whose absence levels are increasing.
Somewhere there is someone just trying to hold it all together, while they think everything around them is collapsing.
Somewhere there is someone wondering if they can still do the job they used to manage.
Somewhere there is someone pretending they are ok, whilst quietly falling apart.
Somewhere there is someone about to hand their notice in as they think they can't do their job anymore, and don't see another option other than jumping before being pushed.
Somewhere there is someone considering going part-time hoping less time in work will help them.
Somewhere there is someone who is starting to be a challenge to be around.
Somewhere there is someone afraid to ask for help due to the fear of repercussions.
Somewhere there is someone trying to understand why she feels like she does as it doesn't make sense.
Somewhere there is someone who feels alone and isolated.
Somewhere there is someone who isn't being listened to by her doctor
Somewhere there is someone who has had how they feel brushed off by a colleague.

Is that someone in your workplace you?

If you want that someone not to be you any more, drop me a dm to find out how coaching can help you not be that someone.

From starting my nursing career a 18, I didn't wear rings or nail varnish. Initially it was we weren't allowed.

I then moved to work in the operating theatre for the next 27yrs. No rings, short nails and definitely no varnish when working.

Since I have stopped working in clinical roles, I have enjoyed being able to wear rings, jewellery and nail varnish.

For the about the last year, I have been been having bio sculpture gel nails. Every 3 weeks I choose a nail colour and recently started adding sparkles.

I love having different colours of nails, long nails and being able to wear rings. The gel has also improved the nail strength, as they had weakened during my latter perimenopause.

It may be a small thing, but doing things we enjoy helps our wellbeing. Taking time out for ourselves helps with our wellbeing. Having my nails done also supports a local business.

Prioritising ourselves whilst in perimenopause is important, we need to take care of ourselves so we can better manage our symptoms, but continue doing the things we need to do.

What do you do to help your wellbeing?

If you want to learn how to better manage your perimenopause and prioritise yourself, considering menopause coaching to help you find the joy in your life, even if its a new nail colour.

When you are in the midst of your menopause symptoms you don't always see the ripple effect on those around you, but
when you start to feel better the positive ripples reach even further.

What I love working with clients either coaching or doing awareness sessions is seeing the impact on those in front of me, but knowing that what they take away will impact a lot of other people.

If you are looking at any type of support around Menopause, either coaching or awareness please drop me a message.

Let's start having a positive impact on everyone around us.

Yes I have been absent from social media again, but that doesn't mean I'm not doing my Menopause work in the background.

With our unusual continuing hot weather, I was concentrating on the basics, as that was all I could manage.

I didn't beat myself up as my visibility had reduced, instead I took the time to work in other ways, that are starting to pay dividends.

Learning to put yourself first is the basis of my coaching programmes, which as women we stop doing as we get older.
I have learnt to put in boundaries, learnt to say no and learnt to do what I need to do to get through, because if I don't control the reins no one else will.

So, when you are ready to take back control of your reins and life from your menopause journey lets talk about what that looks like.
