Congratulations to our own Bláithín Bogue on another incredible achievement as she answers Ireland's call! 🇮🇪🏉

Bláithín has been named to wear the number 10 jersey for Ireland as they take on Australia in the highly anticipated NAB AFLW clash at North Sydney Oval this Saturday.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Bob Cruwys, father of Sarah McCusker. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to Sarah, her husband Thomas, and their children Conor, Patrick and Lucia on the loss of a very special man in their lives.

Over the past number of years, Sarah and Thomas have been instrumental to the development of the club. Sarah has served as treasurer with diligence, creativity and the utmost integrity, and has also been deeply involved in the social and cultural life of the club, adding great richness to our community through events and activities. Thomas has been equally industrious as coaching officer, and as a coach and mentor to our underage teams and developing players. Both Sarah and Thomas are tireless volunteers who give their all to the club.

Conor, Patrick and Lucia have been enthusiastic underage players, wearing the maroon jersey with pride and distinction.

On behalf of the whole club, we extend our deepest condolences to the Cruwys and McCusker families at this sad time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

The family home is private.

A celebration of Bob’s life will take place on Thursday at 11.00am in Killadeas Priory Church, followed by a private family interment. Please note, the family will be greeting anyone attending the service on entrance to the Church from 10.00am.

Friends and neighbours are welcome to attend the above Church on Wednesday evening where Bob will be arriving for 6.00pm.
