🏏 ONE LAST SATURDAY OF SENIOR CRICKET! 🏏

That’s right… it’s the last games of the season for our Senior XI teams! 😭🍻

The whites have somehow survived, the bodies are hanging on by a thread, and there’s still time for one final questionable decision outside off stump. 😂

This Saturday our teams head out for the final time this season, so we want to see plenty of you there to support, drink, cheer and enjoy one last game with us! 💙🏏🍺

Tonight Temple Cloud C.C Women take on Winscombe for the final league game of the season! 💪💙🧡

One last chance for wickets, runs, catches… and shouting “YES… NO… SORRY!” halfway down the pitch. 😂

At this stage of the season, the bodies may be tired, the knees may be creaking, but the enthusiasm is still hanging in there. 😅

Another brilliant result for TCCC Women yesterday, getting over the line in another closely fought game! 👏

⭐ Lucie Thompson & Lottie Culblaith put in awesome performances, scoring a fantastic 56 runs between them and playing a huge part in the win.

A great team performance, plenty of support from the sidelines, and another victory on the board! 💪🏏

Another cracking spell sees Rich bag 5 wickets for just 42 runs! 🎯👏

🏏 our softball squad finished the season with the trip to Lympsham & Belvedere to play a round robin tournament against Wembdon, Wells & Horrington and L&B.
🏏 it was awesome to see some children taking to the pitch for the first time and some of the kids who have been with us since they were 5 years old making strides forward
🏏 some epic performances including some match winning performances when filling in for other teams!
😀 the most important thing though was the smiles and fun - a break now until January when we start winter indoor training for under 11s and under 13s at Chew Valley School

🏏 SATURDAY = CRICKET. Apparently we’ve got THREE teams now. 😂

A full day of Temple Cloud cricket incoming…

🏠 1st XI vs Chard — 12PM
The serious one. Allegedly.

✈️ 2nd XI away at Wedmore — 1PM
Please count everyone before leaving the car park. 🚗😂

🏠 3rd XI vs Uphill Castle Development XI — 1:30PM
A finely balanced mixture of youth, experience and people whose availability message was simply “yeah go on then.” 🤝

Three teams. 33 players.
Several hamstrings already under investigation.
At least one person will forget something important.
And someone will definitely ask “what time are we meeting?” despite it being in the group chat all week. 🫠
