ππ WHAT A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND! ππ
A huge congratulations to all of our ladies and juniors who travelled to Radford Autograss for the 2026 National Championships! π¬π§π
There were some incredible drives, plenty of highs and lows, a few mechanical gremlins, some very unlucky moments β and, most importantly, some fantastic results! We couldnβt be prouder of every single one of you for giving it everything you had. β€οΈ
Ladies Class 1
πBecky Faulkner β 3rd, 2nd and 2nd in her heats before unfortunately taking damage in the semi-final. What a weekend, Becky β unlucky not to go further!
π Faye Steventon β 1st, 1st and 3rd in the heats! After an upside down moment and several attempts at the semi-final, Faye eventually progressed into the final and finished an amazing 3rd place! π₯ What a fightback!
Missy fowler β 3rd, 3rd and unfortunately we donβt have the result from her third heat as the Class 1 points sheet wasnβt posted. Sadly, Missy didnβt make the final, but still a fantastic effort throughout the weekend! π
πClaire Compton β 4th, 4th and 1st in her heats before progressing through the semi-finals and bringing home an excellent 4th place in the National Final! ππ
Ladies Class 3
ππ₯ BECKY SMITH β 2026 LADIES CLASS 3 NATIONAL CHAMPION! π
A perfect weekend with three heat wins followed by a win in the National Final! What a drive and what an achievement! Congratulations Becky! ππ₯

Ladies Class 5
π₯ Vicky Appleton β 3rd, 4th and 1st in the heats before putting in a storming drive in the National Final to take 2nd place! π₯ What a result!
Ladies F600
Heidi Deeley-Seagreaves β 7th, 4th and 2nd in the heats. Unfortunately, Heidi just missed out on a place in the final, but what a determined effort all weekend! π
Class 2
Faye Steventon β 3rd, 2nd and 3rd in the heats, missing out on a chance at the final by just 2 points! π© So close!
Ladies Class 4
ππ₯ CLAIRE COMPTON β BACK TO BACK TWO-TIME LADIES CLASS 4 NATIONAL CHAMPION! π
Claire took a 2nd, 1st and an incredibly unlucky black flag in the heats, but still collected enough points to qualify for the final.
After the final had to be restarted, Claire produced a storming drive to retain her National title! ππ₯

Stock Hatch
Not officially our club car, but Missy fowler also took on Stock Hatch duties, managing a BF, 4th and 3rd in her heats. Unfortunately, she didnβt make the final, but another class tackled and another great effort! πͺ
Ladies Class 8
Clare Berrisford β 5th and 1st in the heats. Unfortunately, the updated points list following the third heats wasnβt posted, so weβre unsure of Clareβs exact third heat result. Sadly, Clare didnβt make the final, but she certainly gave it everything! π
Ladies Class 10
π₯ Michaela Dance β 1st, 4th and 1st in the heats! Michaela was leading the National Final before a small mistake saw her drop back to 2nd, where she ultimately finished. A brilliant National Final runner-up! π₯π₯

π JUNIOR DRIVERS π
And now onto our fantastic junior drivers! π
Archie Ikin β Electrical gremlins made for a really tough weekend, but Archie battled through to record a 4th, 3rd and an unfortunate DNF. πͺπ§
Jimmy Banks β 1st, BF and 6th in his heats. Unfortunately, it wasnβt quite enough to make the quarter-finals, but what an effort! π
Ellis Janes β 5th, 3rd and 3rd in the heats, unfortunately missing out on the quarter-finals by just 8 points! So close! π
Callum Peace β Drove his little socks off! π§¦π 3rd, 1st and 3rd in the heats secured his place in the quarter-finals. Unfortunately, Callum couldnβt progress through to the semis, but he gave it absolutely everything and should be incredibly proud! ππ₯

From National Champions and podium finishes to those who battled through mechanical issues, bad luck and incredibly tight points battles β every single one of you should be proud of what you achieved.
A National Championship weekend is a massive achievement in itself, and to see so many of our drivers out there representing the club makes us incredibly proud. πβ€οΈ
