And just like that our training on the boat is all done! We started our journey together with the boat on Bala a year ago so it seemed fitting we did our last session here too. In recognition the Royal Air Force organised a number of fly overs from some impressive pilots admiring our rowing🤣

We’ve learned so much, grown together through the challenges, celebrated the successes and now find ourselves on a 3 month countdown! Bring it on!🫣🤣

It was a real pleasure to speak to those in the group about what we’re planning to do, the training we’ve done so far, share some of the experiences and what we have to come when we take to the big seas in December. They’ve made me promise to come back, and not just because I’m likely their GP! And just like that we’ve reached the 120 hour mark on the water together🙌 A great weekend of training again, starting with a wet, windy and wavy first night, followed by some lovely weather and great times on the oars. What a journey to be on together😊 Less than 6 months till we start so getting VERY real!

A full weekend pushing ourselves physically and mentally as we continue preparing for the Atlantic Worlds Toughest Row this December 💪🌍

Now it’s the less glamorous part… cleaning the boat down, sorting kit, and getting everything reset ready to go again 🚤🧽

Had such a great weekend with the team — tired, aching, but proud of the progress we’re making together 🙌

After our second outing on some gusty seas it’s starting to really feel like is really happening! Another great experience with more lessons from the waves and thankfully a lot of laughs too! Lucky to be sharing this adventure together and even more grateful for our supporters on land🙌😊🙌
