It is the Leagues intention to run a 3v3 Centralised Venue for the U7s next Season starting in September but we need someone to run it on behalf of the League (with League support).

We would like a dedicated person to be co-opted onto the League Committee as the U7 League Secretary who will oversee the provision of fixtures for the U7s and manage the Centralised Venue and any volunteers who step up to assist on the day.

The person would also be involved in the League Committee with an active role in shaping the future of the Telford Junior League.

The person does not need to be an U7 Manager or Coach and does not need to know the specifics of the 3v3 rules at this time, full support and training will be provided. The person needs to be comfortable and familiar in a children's grassroots environment and a good organiser and communicator; a DBS will be required to be completed.

We'd like to thank the 2026/27 U7 coaches and players from NC United FC Randlay Colts Junior Football Club and Nova United Football Club who took part in a small 3v3 League trial yesterday, feedback was very positive, everyone present agreed that the players really enjoyed playing in this format, lots of time on the ball, no subs, no pressure, enjoyment and fun was had by all.

3v3 looks to be a great new addition to the development pathway of children and we look forward to running it in the upcoming Season.

There are plans to hold an U7 Coaches 3v3 CPD and maybe a larger event later in the summer to involve as many new U7 teams as we can....further details to follow.

Please park in AFC Telfords Car Park (off Haybridge Road), parking is free for the first 2 hours – if over 2 hours, payment can be made on the way out....it's not planned for attendees to be at the event longer than one hour so there should be no need to pay for parking.

Please do not enter or park in the Whitehouse Hotels Car Park, you will likely receive a fine.
