Welcome to Madeley Badminton Club (MBC). We are a friendly but competitive club meeting every Wednesday at Abraham Darby sports centre.
We play to a good standard and so would ask that potential new players are able to maintain that standard especially in regard to:
1). Your understanding of the rules of badminton such as scoring, etiquette etc
2). Your ability to maintain a rally and move around the court in doubles with a partner
3). Your understanding of the basic positioning in men’s, ladies and mixed doubles play
Visitors are assessed based on the above and are able to play for up to three sessions after which, if they successfully meet the criteria, they can apply for membership.
Due to numbers we are unable to accept players who turn up without prior agreement so please message us if you would like to attend.
