The first few snap shots from yesterdays Club Day 📸

A brilliant way to push back on the 2026 - 2027 season with both juniors and adults tournaments running across the Lilleshall pitches.

Adults was a 7-aside round robin tournament, with 10 x teams competing for gold medal glory, bringing our Men's and Women's sections together for an afternoon of mixed hockey. 🏅

We had 2 x junior tournaments running with Ninjas & Nitros and Beavers & Badgers showcasing their skills with both tournaments going down to penalty shuffles to determine the winners! 🥅

A huge thank you to Ian and Lisa from I & L Photography for spending a day avoiding hockey balls capturing the event on camera. We have plenty of action shots to follow over the coming days!

Thank you to our wonderful team of volunteers for getting everything organised with everything running like clockwork. From setting up pitches and sorting out teams to time keeping, umpiring and scheduling - it really was a team effort and demonstrated the very best of our club.

After the hockey finished, everyone was back at The Wheatsheaf Inn for celebratory drinks and a belly busting BBQ courtesy of the one and only Quinnie. Exceptional as always!

We also had a very special delivery this week in the form of the brand new Y1 club shirts! They look fantastic and it is great to see so many members investing in this partnership. Y1 Sport

Another brilliant day filled with fun, laughter and positive vibes!

A fantastic afternoon with lots of hockey and valuable minutes under the belt ahead of next weekends league campaign.

The 2026 - 2027 season is underway!

A great turnout for our first training sessions of the season with the Nitros, Novas, Next Gen Boys & Next Gen Girls filling both Astro's!

The Ninjas will be back in action on Thursday followed by the Men's Women's and adult GK's specialist training.

A big thank you to the coaching team for all of the energy which went into tonight and our amazing team of Junior Organisers for all of the work behind the scenes to get another season up and running.

New season incoming for our Men's players as preparations stepped up a gear in the August sun this afternoon.

We fielded a couple of hybrid sides to get valuable minutes on the Astro as our 1s / 2s and 3s - 5s played in pre-season friendlies vs North Staffs.

Two very enjoyable games played in great spirits!

Pushing back the new season in style with our Club Day!

We will be taking over both pitches at Lilleshall and there is tons of hockey to be played + the all important socials at The Wheatsheaf Inn
