New to the gym this Jan❓
Starting in your fitness journey can feel really daunting, but here a a few tips to make the experience a better one 👇🏼
🎯 Setting targets for yourself! Whether that be a weight loss goal, building a certain amount of muscle or to just hit a certain weight on your favourite exercise. This helps with the enjoyment of the workout & will make you want to return!
🫨 Take it slow! You don’t have to be lifting the heaviest weights just because that’s what you’ve seen everyone doing on social media and when in the gym. Do what makes you feel comfortable
💜 Don’t compare yourself to others. Remember what you see on socials are maybe 30 seconds into 24 hours or might even be a posed pic. Everyone’s progress is different so just focus on yourself
💪🏼 Ask for help! If you are struggling with preparing a workout or knowing what to do in the gym to reach your goals or wanting to speak about nutrition, don’t be afraid to reach out. Everyone has had to ask for help at some point.
