We are a local running club based in Oakengates Telford. We cater for all abilities from Beginners to experienced. We are an affiliated club with England Athletics and have a annual membership fee, this is payable on joining the club and annually thereafter. (Annual fees are required to be
paid in full by the 1st of March )
What you can expect if you join our club:
• Twice weekly run sessions.
• Three groups per run (Red, Green & Blue) each group is paced base and offers a variety of distance to suit all abilities.
• Individual or group coaching is available from our friendly qualified Coach.
• Advice covering all aspects of running, including health & safety, nutrition, clothing, mobility, injury prevention and running technique is available.
• Run together and no-one left behind is our ethos.
• Suitable for 18 years and over.
• All runs are supported by qualified run leaders.

We meet at Hartshill Park, Oakengates TF2 6AJ. - Monday & Wednesday 6:30pm (meet at the Bandstand)

What will the training sessions involve?
• You can expect after approximately 10 weeks of training to be able to run at least 5k.
• The key will be patience and consistency, you will get support and encouragement from coaches and other runners in the group.
• Depending on starting ability, for the first few weeks you will combine walking with running. For instance:
Week 1: walk 50 seconds and run for 10 seconds, then repeat
Week 2: walk 45 seconds and run for 15 seconds, then repeat, etc.
• The rate of increase will depend on your rate of progress. Who is running the course and why? The group will be lead by a qualified coach or run leader with experience in running fitness. The lead will be a member of England Athletics and is DBS checked. Updates:
