🚨 Session Update & Reminder 🚨

Unfortunately, due to staffing issues at Wrekin Pool, both the Teaching and Squad sessions on Sunday have been cancelled.

To help make up for this, we have secured pool time today with a dedicated one-hour session for each group:

🏊 Teaching: 2:00pm – 3:00pm

🏊 Squad: 3:00pm – 4:00pm

💚 Celebrating Our Incredible Volunteers – National Volunteers’ Week 2026 💚

As we mark National Volunteers' Week, we want to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU to every volunteer who helps make Wellington Swimming Club what it is.

From coaches, teachers, team managers, officials and committee members, to those who organise events, run fundraisers, support galas, manage communications, help poolside, and quietly step in whenever needed – your dedication, time and energy are truly invaluable.

Our club simply couldn't operate without the commitment of so many people who give up their evenings, weekends and free time to support our swimmers and their families. Your passion helps create opportunities, build confidence, develop skills and make lasting memories for everyone involved.

Whether you're visible poolside every week or helping behind the scenes, please know that your efforts are noticed, appreciated and make a real difference.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced swimmer, please continue to look out for one another and follow safe swimming practices at all times. Water safety matters at every age. Enter the water carefully, stay within reach of others, and never leave anyone unsupervised near water. In an emergency, call 999, and if you get into difficulty, float and call for help. Awareness and preparation save lives.

Get ready for an action-packed day of laughs, splashes, inflatable obstacles and lakeside fun as we head to Cliff Lakes! 🙌💚

This is always a brilliant day for our swimmers to relax, have fun together and make some amazing memories outside the pool 🏖️☀️

💚 A huge thank you to our Head Coach Caitlin 💚

Over all 5 days of the Regional Championships, Caitlin was there poolside supporting every single Wellington swimmer from start to finish.

From the early warm ups to the final races, your encouragement, guidance and belief in the team helped our swimmers perform at their very best. Thank you Caitlin 💚
