‘Jane’
She’s the one everyone relies on.
The dependable one.
The strong one.
The one who holds it all together, even when everything inside feels like it’s quietly falling apart.
She wants peace.
Not the kind she pretends to have when she says “I’m fine.”
Real peace.
The kind where her mind slows down…
and she can finally breathe without that constant tightness in her chest.
But somewhere along the way, she learned that who she really is doesn’t matter as much as who people need her to be.
So, she became who they expected.
She says yes when she means no.
She keeps the peace instead of speaking the truth.
She shows up for everyone else… and disappears from herself.
And now?
She doesn’t even know what she likes anymore.
What she needs.
Who she is without everyone else’s expectations.
It doesn’t just feel like stress anymore.
It shows up as anxiety.
Overwhelm.
Exhaustion that sleep doesn’t fix.
Sometimes even illness.
And the hardest part?
From the outside, her life can look completely fine.
There’s a moment usually quiet, usually alone where something feels off.
Maybe it’s lying in bed at night, staring at the ceiling.
Maybe it’s after saying “yes” again when everything inside was screaming “no.”
And a thought slips in:
“Is this really it?”
Not because she’s broken.
But because she’s been living a version of herself that was built for survival… not truth.
And even if she doesn’t know what comes next yet…
There’s a small part of her that’s starting to realise:
She’s still in there.
• Not gone.
• Not lost.
Just buried under years of being who she thought she had to be.
And maybe… just maybe…
This isn’t who she is.
It’s just who she learned to become.
If this feels like you…
and you’re tired of holding it all together on your own…
My 1:1 work is a space where we gently begin to unravel this at your pace, in a way that actually feels safe.
You don’t have to figure it out alone anymore.
