I don't think anyone imagines running an event is cheap, Pete breaks down the costs that are incurred in putting on a busy event for people as well as the charity giveaway and prize money for the athletes. With costs rising the quesiton is, is all of it worth it. The answer is yes of course but there are things along the journey that have been cut back to ensure the quality of the event. Quality being one of the statistically highest rated factors when people think about returning to an event so you have to make sure the money is being spent wisely and in the right places.

How do we keep the branding in check with organisers that put on lots of events. Its being able to ensure quality across the whole product from the design, to the printing to the ribbon as well. If the medal looks amazing but the ribbon falls short then it spoils the whole result.
