1st competitive game at U12s in the A league of the Telford Junior and Youth Football League No easy games this season.

Today’s game Vs Dawley Town F.C. was a well matched full blooded affair with plenty of firmiliar faces on both sides giving their all 💪🏼

Telford Ajax Fc took the lead via well worked corner and a clinical finish from Sunnie ⚽️ only to be pegged back when Dawley capitalised on a series of mistakes, thankfully Joe then pulled of a wonderful save 🧤 to go in 1-1 at HT.

Dawley then came came out fast the 2nd half and took the lead on the break before Israel made it 2-2, with another clinical finish from the penalty spot ⚽️

This set up a nervy last 20 for all watching with the opposition disappoingly for us taking the lead again with a nice finish from the angle to make it 2-3 😩

A late 5mins surge of continues pressure from our boys and a couple of goal mouth scrambles just couldn’t find the equaliser we felt we earned.

Well done Dawley 👏🏼 we move on to next week vs Nova United Football Club

Today’s MOTM went to William for his tenacity and never give in attitude, always a thorn in any attackers side 👏🏼

A rollercoaster of a morning at the Norton Canes FC tournament, the boys didn’t really play their best, but boy they don’t know when they’re beaten! 💪🏼

Initially making hard-work of it in the group stages we then scored a last second winner in the semi-final, followed by another last second equaliser in the final, the boys then calmly scored all their penalties 🥶 leaving it to Joe to do what he does best, saving 2 penalties to take the win 👏🏼

It’s been our most successful summer to date, but the most pleasing part today was the complements our boys received for their behaviour and sportsmanship when other teams around them we’re losing their heads 🤯

It’s always disappointing to leave players at home but the boys who were lucky enough to be selected did Telford Ajax Fc...

It’s always disappointing to leave players at home but the boys who were lucky enough to be selected did Telford Ajax Fc proud today at the Sparta FC tournament.

Coming out as group winners, battled through the semi’s finals on pens then narrowly pipping Dawley Town F.C. to the trophy 🏆 in a thrilling final 👏🏼
