Nurture your child’s water confidence with Tiny Swimming. We offer gentle, child-led lessons for babies from 6 weeks to school aged children.

Our focus is on building a lifelong love for swimming through a supportive and nurturing approach. At Tiny Swimming, we understand the need for children to learn about water safety and to become competent in and around water. However, we also love swimming and believe that learning to swim must be fun. If you choose Tiny Swimming, our teachers will work with you and your child to ensure they learn

to swim in the most enjoyable way we can. At selected times in the week, we can also help adult swimmers who might come to see us for a number of reasons. Maybe you just never learnt to swim as a child, you wish to overcome a fear of water (aquaphobia) or you just wish to improve your swimming technique.

💙 TEACHER THURSDAY 💙

This week, we’re introducing the lovely Gina! 👋🏊‍♀️

Gina loves seeing our swimmers grow in confidence and, most importantly, seeing everyone have fun in the water! 🌊🥰

🐠 Her favourite song to sing? “Fishes in the Water, Fishes in the Sea”
🏊‍♀️ Favourite stroke? Backstroke
🎃 And her favourite holiday? Halloween!

One of Gina’s favourite things about teaching is watching the bond between our young swimmers and their grown-ups grow throughout their swimming journey. 🥹💙

Noodles can be used for SO much more than you think! 🤔💦

Think noodles are just for floating? Think again! 👀

Our swimming noodles are a brilliant piece of equipment for creating fun, challenging and creative activities for our little swimmers.

Here are just a few ways we can use them in our lessons:

🩵 Support & float – helping swimmers build confidence in different positions.
🐸 Kick practice – use the noodle to support the body while practising strong kicks.
🚂 Noodle trains – a fun way to encourage movement and travelling through the water.
🎯 Noodle targets – swim or kick through/around the noodle to practise direction and control.
🌊 Obstacle courses – turn noodles into tunnels, bridges or things to swim around!
💪 Balance challenges – sit, kneel or balance with the noodle (age and ability appropriate).
🫧 Water confidence games – use them to make jumps, submersions and underwater activities more exciting!

Sometimes the simplest piece of equipment can create so many learning opportunities! 🥰

🏊‍♀️ WE DID IT! 💜🧡

What a team! 🎉 Our Tiny Swimming team has officially completed our 10K Swim for Children with Cancer UK! 🏊‍♀️

Together we swam, supported and pushed each other every step of the way — and we’re so proud of what we’ve achieved. 💪💦

Even better… we’ve smashed our £1,000 fundraising target and raised £1,113! 🎉🙌

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, shared our fundraiser and supported us throughout. Your generosity means so much and will help Children with Cancer UK support children and families affected by cancer. 💜
