🤿 CCR has arrived on the Suunto Nautic!

A major software update for the Nautic brings dedicated CCR functionality to the computer, making this a significant step forward for technical and rebreather divers.

Rather than relying on the previous Algorithm Off approach, the new CCR dive mode is purpose-built for closed-circuit diving. The update adds support for CCR diluent and bailout gases, while increasing the maximum number of gas mixes from 5 to 8.

Setpoint management gets a serious upgrade too, with automatic or manual setpoint control, automatic setpoint changes and dedicated setpoint alarms during the dive. CCR-specific information is also available in the switch window, with relevant CCR data carried through into the dive summary afterwards.

For CCR divers, this is a substantial update and makes the Nautic a much more capable tool for technical diving.

The update is software version 2.55.46, released in August 2026, and is available as an over-the-air update through the Suunto app

Quick question… when did every giant fleeced coat become a “Dryrobe”? 🤔

You see them everywhere now. Beaches, lakes, dive sites, random windy car parks and even dog walks.

So we got curious and wrote a blog about it. The original Dryrobe VS all the cheaper lookalike options out there. Are they actually different, or are we all just paying extra for a big coat with a famous logo?
