The countdown is on for the World’s Toughest Row - Atlantic 2026!

On December 12th, 40 teams, 122 rowers from 18 countries will take on the adventure of a lifetime, rowing across 3,000 miles of ocean from La Gomera to Antigua🇪🇸🇦🇬

These brave individuals will push their limits in a true test of endurance, teamwork, and mental strength. Whilst battling 40ft waves and unknown weather conditions, they will face the raw power of the Atlantic with nothing but grit and determination✊🏼

Tim and I have been Regattering all week and what a fantastic week it’s been!! Put the sound on for this video from one of our Raft Race teams - the fabulous Crusty Crabs has to be seen it sums the wonderful Teignmouth Regatta perfectly!

We've had a little holiday up to Oban, all about boats. Sara Brewer is now on the last leg of a full circumnavigation in the Clipper Race. Some of you may know of Sara as until recently held the Guinness World Record as the oldest female to row an Ocean taking part in the World's Toughest Row 2019 Race. Sara will be finishing the Clipper race on the 25th July. We wish her the best of luck for the next few days and wonder what is next for her🤔

Well, while we seem to have been a bit quiet on Socials it's because we've actually been really busy.
But it seems nothing compared to the Ocean and all the Rowers.
In the Worlds World's Toughest Row Pacific the teams are forging on with Liz and Andrew Breen over half way.

Then there's the Amazing David Dinger Bell on his incredible Row across the Pacific and Indian ocean Solo, 😮 check out Dinger's Big Row.

In the North Atlantic there's our friend and Ocean rowing expert Dawn Smith on her Row home with Paul Lore.
Also in the North Atlantic our friend Amy Xu In her North Atlantic Row 2026 with Ran Li.

Thank you Rannoch Adventure for a great day Saturday, what a great day catching up with rowers past present and future. Lovely to see so many of you there. Great to see Raymarine (thank you for the Raymarine Beers) and Mactra Marine Equipment showing off their goods and expertise. A life raft Demo from Ocean Safety. On to the next rowing courses for the World's Toughest Row on Saturday. 👍
