🌿 We’re Hiring – Assistant Greenkeeper ⛳

Teignmouth Golf Club is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Assistant Greenkeeper to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work at a beautiful coastal golf course and be part of a dedicated team responsible for maintaining and presenting the course to a high standard.

Previous greenkeeping or grounds maintenance experience is desirable, but a positive attitude, willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are essential.

The first step of our academy is our 6 week "Get into Golf" program, designed for complete beginners.
One of our PGA professionals will guide you through this course and introduce you into the basics of the game.
Get into Golf includes:
• Six 1hr sessions, covering: Putting, chipping, pitching, full swing, driving and bunker play
• Session six will be out on the golf course
• Equipment provided throughout course
• Use of club practice facilities and equipment throughout the duration of your course
• Each class will be a maximum of 10 participants per group

What a great way to spend the bank holiday!
96 players took part in our memorial day competition to remember those members who are no longer with us.
18 holes with coffee and bacon baps out on the course followed by a BBQ with the best view in the Teignmouth.
The winners after a sudden death chip off were Dale Mason, Derek Rowley, Steve Rixon and Kevin Hewings.

What a start to the season for the Still Cup Team ⛳️ today they played against Perranporth to battle it out for the Tamar Trophy. The team consisted of Belle, Susie, Hannah, Vicky, Lorna, Kendal and Hannah under the guidance of team manager Mandy. A convincing win of 7-0 to Teignmouth made them the winner of the Tamar Trophy 2026. Thank you and well done to all the players, managers, caddies and supporters
