⛳ Thank a Greenkeeper Day ⛳

Today, as part of BIGGA’s Thank a Greenkeeper Day, we’d like to say a huge thank you to our greenkeeping team — George, Aiden, Scott, Pete, Mike and Rob. 👏

2026 has tested the team with one of the wettest winters followed by an exceptionally dry summer. Despite the extremes, the course has been presented to a fantastic standard, with the quality and consistency of our greens a particular highlight.

From early-morning course set-up and bunker preparation to cutting, irrigation and moisture management, a huge amount of work goes on behind the scenes every day.

The results speak for themselves. Thank you, lads — your hard work, skill and dedication are hugely appreciated. 💚⛳

🌿 We’re Hiring – Assistant Greenkeeper ⛳

Teignmouth Golf Club is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Assistant Greenkeeper to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work at a beautiful coastal golf course and be part of a dedicated team responsible for maintaining and presenting the course to a high standard.

Previous greenkeeping or grounds maintenance experience is desirable, but a positive attitude, willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are essential.

The first step of our academy is our 6 week "Get into Golf" program, designed for complete beginners.
One of our PGA professionals will guide you through this course and introduce you into the basics of the game.
Get into Golf includes:
• Six 1hr sessions, covering: Putting, chipping, pitching, full swing, driving and bunker play
• Session six will be out on the golf course
• Equipment provided throughout course
• Use of club practice facilities and equipment throughout the duration of your course
• Each class will be a maximum of 10 participants per group
