That's the Taynuilt Highland Games 2026! Done & what a day it was! ✨
The sunshine showed up and the smiles never left. From the first pipe at 10am to the very last cheer of the afternoon, this village reminded everyone - locals, visitors, tourists and strangers who are now friends; exactly what it's made of.
Thank you, to every single one of you,
🏋️ To our incredible athletes and competitors, your sportsmanship was everything.
🎶 To the pipe bands, you made the glen sing.
💃 To the Highland dancers, grace, skill and heart on every step.
🏃 To the novelty game participants, you made us proud and made us laugh in equal measure.
🍦 To our stall vendors, food vans, ice cream vans and craft tent, you fed us, delighted us and made the field feel like the place everyone wanted to be.

👮 To Police Scotland, thank you for escorting the parade through the village with such care.

And to this village. More than a hundred years of this. Still going. Still proud. Still the best day of the year!
